Hugh Jackman is all smiles as he poses with his Order of Australia medal on Friday morning (September 13) at the Government House in Melbourne, Australia.
The 50-year-old actor was supported at the ceremony by wife Deborra Lee Furness as he was honored with the award for his service to the performing arts and for his work as an advocate for poverty eradication.

After the event, Hugh took to Instagram to thank everyone who has encouraged him throughout the years.
“On this occasion, I am reminded that I share the incredible honor with my parents, my siblings, my friends and, especially, with Deb, Oscar and Ava. There are countless teachers, coaches and mentors who have taught and inspired me along the way. I will forever be in their debt. It is humbling to be amongst so many great Australians who have outstanding achievements in so many fields. Thank you to the Governor General,” Hugh wrote along with the below post.
